Good find. I was told by somone else that it was EDGE only, and now I look at the box and the specs it is definitely UMTS. I guess I'll be keeping this phone for some time now :)

Re: Sony Ericsson M600i versus Nokia E70

"The M600i of course supports UMTS, whereas the E70 is EDGE only" - this is untrue. The E70 of course supports 3G UMTS(maybe You don't have 3G range in your area. Please read "technical specification" on Nokia site: http://europe.nokia.com/e70. I have this phone and UMTS works beautifully according to specification 3GPP WCDMA Release 99.

Re: Sony Ericsson M600i versus Nokia E70

This one makes sence "One's first step in wisdom is to kuesstion everything - and one's last is to come to terms with everything."

Re: Sony Ericsson M600i versus Nokia E70

Too bad that Nokia has dropped the high resolution screens and uses 320x240px on 2"-3" screens just like the most.

Re: Sony Ericsson M600i versus Nokia E70

I've always found Nokia's strength is in their user experience so to be honest I'm not surprised you favour the E70.

A couple of years ago I was developing on the P900 family and quite frankly was rather unimpressed with their user experience. Wonder if it's improved at all?
