Nooo! Don't do it! (Standard refrain you will hear from ex-players who had to fight to kick the habit.)

Proudmoore (PvE) has a lot of Australian/NZ players, or it did when I played some time ago.

Exactly, don't do it. A few of my friends started playing and, uhh well, they're well and truly stuck in the WoW universe. Thankfully I've never tried.

Ha! Thanks guys. I'm hoping my inherent lack of gaming time will stop me from being sucked too far in. Being married with a child tends to take up a lot of my time as is.

Hey. I agree with everyone that previously, it's QUITE addicting. I played Everquest on/off for 5+ years. MMOs are bad news for folks that are obsessive like me. I finally left Everquest and decided to play WoW casually and I am totally hooked.

I am a level 62 Druid on Draka, a US PVE server, so I'd be no help for you. I run Aximsite.com and Mobilitysite.com and sometimes these sites get neglected late night due to this game. Funny thing is my character's name is Axim.

Anyhow, if you try it... good luck, it's truely fun!

Man, you can pick up a copy of WoW for $30nz from EB Games.

It's been a while since it's cost $100nz for a retail copy. Heck I think I paid $60nz for mine in some past sale.

Soloing is pretty pointless too. You might as well play Oblivion. MMORPGs are all about gaming with real or 'cyber' friends.
